Do you think there’s a bit of an online movie journo bias to Scott Pillgrim? It seems as if Wright is friendly with a lot of dudes… and he also pays attention to a lot of online sites I’m guessing.

I’m sure there is plenty of bias. This is the movie blogosphere. It’s where credibility is sold away for a free t-shirt and an email from a name on a movie poster.

That said, you’re forgetting the fact that Scott Pilgrim is based on a wicked cool series of books. And Edgar Wright is a very talented filmmaker. That equation looks good, beer goggles or not.
